Crushie, crushie! =)

Good drawing but the coloring is a bit pillowy. My suggestion is to try and get some solid bits of darker shadow down on places to define the shapes of the body a bit more sharply. It gives more volume than to uniformly shadow each metal facet. =)

Either way I love this guy. I hope the movie exclusive Decepticon characters pop up again somewhere in the Transformers franchise.

Keep up the good work. =)

Ahh why do I feel like singing the Invader Zim 'Doom' song now?

It's difficult working with such a light tan. I didn't want to darken it too much or else I'd end up with the opposite problem. For what it's worth and for my level of experience (which is only a few months of digital coloring, really) I think it turned out really good. I'm glad you like it.
:iconweremole:
Yeah, keep it up. You'll get better. =)

A good tip on shading tans and light stuff is to use an oposite color to highlight. Don't make the color too light in itself and then pick a bluey highlight if its red-ish.

I've also found that the same thing works wonders for shadows. Try using a very dark blue sometimes. ;) Blue shadows and warm highlights can bring a nice effect. Sortof like the Seiken Densetsu III game for the SNES.

VERY cool. The pose is a little funky, but the colors make up for it. I love the mirror effect on the windows.
:iconlegend-of-blackout:
The pose is right out of movie, right before he body checks the bus. I thought it was such a cool move that personified the character perfectly. Bonecrusher, on the other hand, hates this pose ;p.
:iconlegend-of-blackout:
Heh. It's funny that I never thought of that with the computer because I would have done just that if I were coloring him by hand. Thanks for the tips, btw. It's always great to get advice and share advice especially if it helps us all be better artists.
